Obituary of Allen Willis
Willis, Allen M. “Butch” 63 of Clermont, NJ passed away on March 19, 2018.
Born in Alleghany County, PA on December 1, 1954, he moved to New Jersey in 1983 and had lived in Sea Isle City, NJ before moving to Clermont.
Butch worked for the Maintenance Department for Sea Isle Public Works for 24 years along with working in food service for many years. He was a devoted son, father, and brother who was kind, loving, funny and hard working. Butch also coached Hockey and Baseball for many years. He was saved by God’s Grace and will be awaiting our arrival; and he’d say-no hurry, it’s the first break I’ve had in 60 years.
Survived by his loving parents, Patricia A. Farina (Vincent), and Allen Willis, Sr. (Lorie) ,three sons, Michael Willis of Seaville, Shane Willis of Clermont, NJ, Joshua Willis of Clermont, brothers and sisters, Sallee Raffa (Andy), Sherry Wegelin (Mike), Patty Harrigan, David Farina (Lisa), Joey Farina (Diana), grandchildren, Alexis, Michael, Alison and Abigail Willis, his first wife, Cynthia Willis, his second wife Jackie Willis and his best friend Anthony, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Gregory Willis.
A Service of Memory and Love will be offered Monday afternoon at three o’clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from two o’clock until the time of service. Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to The American Heart Association or the Humane Society.
