Obituary for Jeffery Ishmael
Jeffery Lee Ishmael, 63, farm manager for McPeek Racing, husband of Tammy Brewer Ishmael, died Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born October 29, 1954 in Nicholas County, son of the late Robert Lee and Ardie Mitchell Ishmael. Jeff was a 1973 graduate of Bourbon County High School and was a member of Trinity First Church of God. In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by six children, Justin Lee (Samantha) Ishmael, Kayla Britney Ishmael, Jeremy Curtis Ishmael, Tyler Jordan Ishmael, Heather Page, Drew Simpson; seven grandchildren, Savannah Ishmael, Emilee Blair Ishmael, Jordan Curtis Ishmael, Brooklyn Marie Ishmael, Brycen Page, Kayden Page, Braelynn Ishmael; and four siblings, Juanita (Bob) Bennett, Estell (Missy) Ishmael, Lisa (Billy) Heflin, and Brian (Cathy) Ishmael. A sister, Jenny Hardin, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, at Trinity First Church of God by Rev. William E. Singleton with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Greg Wood, James Michael Heflin, Omar Morales, Timmy Evans, Sterling Evans, and Mike Mullins. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
