Obituary of Alfred Leiker
IN LOVING MEMORY
ALFRED LEE LEIKER
Alfred L. Leiker, 78, of Colby, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Citizens Medical Center, in Colby. He was born August 6, 1939 to Herbert and Catheryn (Schoenfeld) Leiker. Alfred worked for the Rio Grande/Union Pacific Railroad for 38 years. He loved music and was a member of the country band, Saratoga Light. In 2004 he opened Thunderchord Guitars in Norton, KS and moved the store to Colby in 2009.
Survivors include: his children, Troy Leiker, Colby, KS; Daniel (Diane) Leiker, Denver, CO; Christopher (Heather) Leiker, Kent, WA; brother, Herb (Laura) Leiker and Ron (Tona) Leiker, all of Kansas City, KS; sisters, Mary Alice Munk, Hoxie, KS; Barb (Earl) Hanson, Norton, KS; Pat (Darrell) Canfield, Kansas City, KS; Tammy (Rod) Maddy, Norton, KS; seven grandchildren and five-great grandchildren.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott Leiker; grandson, Wesley Leiker; sister, Rosie.
MEMORIAL SERVICE – Tuesday, April 3, 2018 – 10:30 A.M
PLACE – Enfield Funeral Home – Norton, Kansas
INURNMENT – Norton Cemetery – Norton, Kansas
