Glenn A Lane 2018

Glenn A. Lane, 57, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 7:23 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born April 18, 1960 in Granite City, a son of the late Charles L. and Mildred R. (Veres) Lane.
He married Tammy S. (Donaldson) Lane on March 17, 1984 in Madison and she survives.
He retired from the Metro East Sanitary District after 31 years of dedicated service as a pump operator.
He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Glenn achieved a lifelong dream of attending a Packers game at Lambeau Field last year with his son. He cherished his dogs, Lambeau, King and Molly and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his son, Ryan B. Lane of Granite City; a granddaughter, Ella Grace Lane; a sister and brother-in-law, Priscilla and Bill Briggs of Granite City; other extended family and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Lane.
In celebration of his life and in accordance to his wishes, a memorial visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Granite City APA or support your local animal shelter and may be accepted at the funeral home.
