Kimberley Page Blend 2018

Kimberley Page Blend, 54, passed away at her home in Anchorage, Alaska, on March 4, 2018. She was born in Corcoran, Calif., on May 30, 1963, but came to Alaska with her family in May 1969, and was a lifelong resident of Anchorage.
Kim graduated from East Anchorage High School in 1981. Upon graduation she worked at National Bank of Alaska as a teller but decided to pursue a career in aviation. She worked as a Flight Attendant for ERA Aviation and Reeve Aleutian Airways before taking a position with Alaska Airlines, where she remained for 32 years. Her outgoing and charming personality made her perfect for this job.
Kim loved this state and its beauty, and her job allowed her to see more of Alaska than many people have the privilege of doing. She was also fortunate in being able to travel much of the world. Kim was a very beautiful woman with a smile that lit up any room she entered, a remarkably adventurous spirit and a highly developed work ethic.
Kim was preceded in death by both her parents, Elmer and Wanda Blend; and her niece, Genevieve Allegrezza. She is survived by her siblings, Veronica Herman (Sandy) of Oroville, Calif., and Deborah Brown (Mike), Kathryn Allegrezza and Bradley Green, all of Anchorage; her niece, Antonia Brunetti; nephew, Mark Allegrezza (Francesca); and great-niece, Violetta Allegrezza. She further leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins, along with countless friends and her beloved cats, Rico and Lorenzo.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 7 p.m., at the Alaska Aviation Museum, 4721 Aircraft Drive in Anchorage.
Condolences may be sent to Deborah Brown, 8820 Rendon Drive, Anchorage, AK 99507. Anyone wishing to make a charitable contribution in Kim’s name may do so to the Anchorage SPCA, her favored charity.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Kimberley
